The desk takes the brief (shoot type, deliverable count, drone yes or no, rights and licensing scope), matches the right shooter from our roster, confirms day-rate or hourly pricing with the client, schedules the boarding window with the captain, and coordinates the post-production timeline. Drone coverage gets coordinated with FAA-licensed pilots flying within Miami and Fort Lauderdale airspace restrictions. Multi-shooter setups (lead photographer plus video plus drone) get sequenced so each role gets their windows without conflict on deck. Rush delivery for next-business-day turnaround gets queued at the time of booking so the editor has the slot held. Full RAW handoffs and licensing scope (personal, social, paid advertising, stock) get documented in the booking confirmation.
Pair With a Charter
Most photographer coordination runs paired with a yacht charter from the LIMITLESS YACHTS fleet. The shooter boards at the slip during the captain's pre-departure check, rides the charter, and disembarks at the return slip. The captain works the route to maximize golden hour, sandbar approach, and any specific drone-friendly stretches the brief calls for. Two scenarios that run often: a Wally 85 sunset charter from Bahia Mar with a 4-hour shoot covering on-deck editorial plus drone aerials for a swimwear brand lookbook; and a four-hour Azimut Daniella bachelorette charter to Haulover Sandbar with a vertical-video specialist shooting reels and a same-day highlight edit delivered before the group's dinner reservation that evening. Both bookings move through one team rather than the client coordinating shooter, drone pilot, and yacht separately.

Do photographers work on board the yacht or just at the dock?
Both. Most yacht photo shoots are on-deck during the charter, capturing scenery, group moments, and movement. Some shoots also include dockside arrival shots before departure. The photographer rides the full charter unless the brief is dock-only, in which case we book a shorter window.
How quickly are photos and videos delivered?
Standard turnaround is 5 to 7 business days for edited photos and a highlight reel. Rush delivery is available for next-business-day turnaround at a premium, common for influencer charters and brand campaign tight deadlines. Full RAW handoffs are available on request.
Are drones allowed on the charter?
Yes for FAA-licensed pilots flying outside controlled airspace. Miami and Fort Lauderdale have specific restricted zones near the airports and certain marinas, which the photographer respects in the flight plan. The captain coordinates the route around drone-friendly cruising zones for shoots where aerial is a priority.
Can I provide my own photographer or production crew?
Yes. Many editorial and brand campaigns bring their own crew. We coordinate boarding, gear loadout, captain timing for ideal light, and the route. For clients without a preferred shooter, our pre-vetted roster covers editorial, social, drone, and event-grade work at multiple price points.
What is included in the photographer fee?
The shooter fee covers on-board time, raw capture, post-production editing on agreed selects, and the final delivered files. Add-ons that bill separately include drone, second shooter, video editor for long-form, expedited delivery, and rights for paid advertising or stock licensing.
