Haulover Sandbar Charter

Haulover is the social heart of Miami sandbar culture. Saturdays from late spring through early fall, hundreds of boats raft up in the shallow water just inside Haulover Inlet between Sunny Isles and Bal Harbour. The scene is loud, the music is good, and a yacht charter parked in the middle of it is one of the most-photographed spots on Instagram south of South Beach. This is the voyage we recommend for groups that want energy, not quiet. Bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, milestone birthdays, and anyone celebrating something specific. The yacht serves as your private base. Climb down, swim, hop a jet ski, hop back up for shade and refreshments. Repeat for three hours. The four-hour booking is the entry point. Most groups extend to six because the scene peaks between 1 PM and 4 PM and you do not want to leave just as it gets going. Add a DJ or BYO Bluetooth playlist. Add the jet ski package if you want to break out from the raft-up. Add a water-toy bundle if your group has kids or first-timers who want a paddleboard or floating mat. The captain handles approach, anchoring, and re-positioning if conditions shift. If you decide mid-charter to swap to a calmer spot we can pull anchor and reset at Nixon's or the Key Biscayne sandbar in under 20 minutes.

• How busy is Haulover on a Saturday?

  Very. Hundreds of boats raft up between noon and 4 PM. That is the appeal. Calm weekday charters are quieter if your group prefers space.

• Can we play music loud?

  Yes within reason. Most yachts in the fleet have premium sound systems. The captain enforces curfew on volume after 4 PM per local marine etiquette.

• Are jet skis available at the sandbar?

  Yes. The jet-ski add-on includes 1 to 4 craft delivered to the sandbar with safety briefing and fuel.

• Is there food on-site?

  No vendors at the sandbar itself. Pre-order catering from us or bring a cooler. Food trucks operate at Haulover Beach which is walkable if you tender in.

• What is the dress code?

  Swimsuits, light cover-ups, sun hats. The captain provides freshwater rinse-off before re-boarding so you stay comfortable.
