The Wally 85 is moored at Brickell City Centre Marina or, depending on availability, at the Coconut Grove Sailing Club. Pickup runs year-round, and most charters depart between Thursday and Saturday. From the slip, you have direct access to the MacArthur Causeway and the Venetian Causeway, both of which funnel traffic to the shallow-draft cuts that lead offshore. Morning departures to the Exuma chain typically clear Government Cut by midday, and the return trip is faster if you avoid the Friday afternoon Miami International boat traffic corridor.

For the party crowd, stage a charter out of South Beach or the Wynwood warehouse district, where your group can board after lunch and be at anchor in the Bahamas by dinner service. The Wally draws shallow enough to explore the Biscayne Bay flats north of Elliot Key, and her crew knows the best holding in the sand. Winter charters run November through March, but summer is quieter if you prefer the calm of morning departures and fewer boats in the anchorages.
